In the heart of the desert, where the sun paints the landscape with hues of warmth and resilience, every plant is a testament to nature's ingenious adaptation. In the arid embrace of the sands, botanical wonders thrive against all odds, whispering tales of tenacity and beauty. The desert, a living testament to the poetry of survival, unfolds its secrets to those who pause to listen, revealing that even in the harshest environments, life finds a way to bloom.

ABOUT FIRE CIDER
Fire cider also known as an Oxymel is a traditional immune-supporting remedy that incorporates the use of zesty, spicy ingredients that are common in our kitchen. Together we will make this classic tonic that is packed with beneficial ingredients to help support the immune system during cold, flu, and allergy season. We will sample oxymels I have made using cultivated native plants.
Traditionally Fire Cider/Oxymel is made using honey, for those who do not use honey, you can replace honey for maple syrup or food grade vegetable glycerine.
All class participants must bring;
• 32 oz jar with matching lid (quart size) I will have mason jars available for purchase, for $2.00 (cash only)
• Knife
• Wooden spoon or chopstick
• 1 cup honey OR 1 cup maple syrup OR 1 cup food grade vegetable glycerine
